Amber obtained her Master’s of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology with an Emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University in 2015. She obtained her Master’s of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in 2019.  She completed several years of training, including an APA accredited pre-doctoral internship, at the Biola Counseling Center in La Mirada, CA. Prior to this, Amber graduated summa cum laude from Hampton University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology 2013. Currently, Amber has completed all courses and training necessary to become a clinical psychologist except her dissertation. She is doctoral student at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Professionally, she has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families in providing comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to address concerns such as Learning Disabilities, ADHD, mood disorders, and persistent mental illness. Amber has worked as a Psychometrist for various private practices in Atlanta, Georgia. During this time, Amber has conducted comprehensive neuropsychological, forensic, psychoeducational, pre-surgical, and social security assessments for individuals across the lifespan. In addition to psychological testing, she has had the honor of providing psychotherapy with adults and couples from different cultural and ethnic backgrounds with a wide variety of concerns.
