Joelle Bryk, Psy.D.
Licensed Psychologist

Dr. Joelle Bryk is a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in children and adolescents. She has experience conducting psychological and psychoeducational evaluations for individuals from preschool ages through young adults presenting with a wide variety of concerns including  learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, developmental and intellectual disabilities, anxiety and mood disorders, emotion dysregulation, executive dysfunction, and other behavioral and emotional concerns. Dr. Bryk’s experience working with children of all ages helps her tailor her evaluations to the client, both with the selection of tests as well as with the structure of the testing session, getting creative to keep the youngest children engaged. Identifying individuals’ strengths and weaknesses through testing and considering individuals’ unique contexts, Dr. Bryk provides recommendations that she believes will best help the individual and their family grow and succeed.

Dr. Bryk earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Emory University and went on to become a preschool teacher. Recognizing all she loved about teaching was related to psychology, she returned to school and received her Master of Science and PsyD in clinical psychology from Loyola University Maryland in 2020. Throughout graduate school, pre-doctoral internship, and fellowship training, Dr. Bryk provided therapy and testing services to children and adolescents in hospitals, community mental health centers, primary care practices, and independent practice settings. Dr. Bryk recently transitioned from working in a healthcare system to private practice in the Dunwoody office at Healthy Minds Psychology Associates.
