Mariya holds a Master of Education in School Psychology from Georgia State University. Her clinical training focused on psychological assessment of neurodevelopmental disorders and behavioral disorders. Mariya is knowledgeable about schools, instructional methods, and learning and developmental issues that impact daily functioning. She brings an understanding of the role of psychological evaluations and their use in schools, as well as laws that surround student support services in the school setting. As a former teacher, Mariya is familiar with evidence-based interventions and data-based decision making. Holding a Bachelors of Science in Applied Mathematics, Mariya has an education rooted in statistics and holds a strong knowledge base of methods behind assessments used for psychological evaluations.
